Join us to watch how the Zohran Mamdami (NYC Mayor), Kelsea Bond (ATL City Council), and other DSA candidates perform in this year's election! Comrade Marla is hosting the event at Dram Tree Tavern, where we usually have our socials, and will have her keffiyeh on the table so you know where to go.

Day 1: Join the Avelo Boycott Working Group as we table at the 25th Amigos International Festival! We will be distributing multilingual information about the Avelo Airlines Boycott and asking various members of the community to sign our Jeff Jackson Petition. This free family friendly festival celebrates local Latino and Hispanic culture, includes free entertainment, dancing, music, free children's games and activities and more!

This will be a coordinating call for the Wilmington coalition to finalize details over the protest scheduled at the ILM Airport on Sunday 11/30. This meeting is also open to everyone across the various cities & states who are interested in coordinating a protest on this weekend at their respective airports.

Join Wilmington DSA, and Working Films for a screening of Partners, a film that shares the story of how a group of baristas in Buffalo, New York announce their intention to form a labor union, and how Starbucks responds with an elaborate and illegal anti-union campaign. Featuring on-the-ground footage from workers and organizers, Partners takes us to the front lines of the historic union campaign that catalyzed America’s Gen Z labor revival.

In 2020, a group of “Inside Organizers” in Buffalo, New York get jobs at Starbucks with the intention of starting a union. Baristas across Buffalo quickly join the cause. Starbucks catches on and immediately storms the market with over 100 specially-trained corporate executives and managers from across the country. An elaborate anti-union campaign ensues, which the federal government later finds to be the most illegal attack on organizing workers rights in modern United States history. Drawing from on-the-ground footage captured by workers and organizers, Partners takes us to the front lines of the labor campaign that inspired over 11,000 Starbucks workers across the country to organize.
